Bringing health goals to life through small but mindful day-to-day choices and having a boat load of fun while doing it.

Brought together by a witch. Ok, so not really, it just happened to be where they met. Chris and Shannon met at Disco Witch Brewing where Shannon happened to a be a part-time beertender. Once united they were inseparable by music, laughter, fun and nothing short of, what they call, "Eff-Yes" energy. Together they have created an image and brand on the idea that life is not supposed to be limited to the day-to-day grind, instead it is the day-to-day choices that capture the true essence of the eff-yes culture by living life healthy, meaningfully, and whole-heartedly each and every day.

About Chris

Hello Random Stranger,

Introductions are weird, but my purpose is to be as open and honest about who I am and what I can realistically provide for you. First, the logistics, I am a NASM certified personal trainer and a certified run coach through Road Runners Club of America. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I currently reside in Fernandina Beach, Florida.

Outside of being a father to five teens, I run. A lot. What is the “why” behind my running? I run because it has given me the ability to live a life that I feel most comfortable in. Through running I have been afforded the opportunity to make incredible connections with members of my community, build friendships and relationships that I never thought could mean so much to me, but do. Running has transformed my life in ways that I could not have predicted and I have a deep desire to make people feel the same sense of accomplishment and freedom that I feel by simply being active, both physically and mentally. I believe that time is absolutely everything and the big things take time, but anything is possible when you take the time to choose you.

About Shannon

Hello!

I'd like to start off by saying, while I do not physically possess a degree in any of these areas, I consider myself to be a professional psychologist, nurse, manager, writer, life coach and secretary. This particular, and rather impressive skill-set is also known as teaching. I do indeed have a Master's Degree in Elementary Education and I have been in education for 9 years.

I found running through hardship. If there is anything that I have learned, it is that learning is one of the most important things in life and practice is even more important for the learning and growing to continue.

So what can you expect from me here? I am, or at least I am about to be, your own personal and inspirational run blogger, your life coach, your cheerleader, your leader in simple processes that help to make decision-making and routine-building much, much easier. Whether it be organizing your day, helping to manage your time, or you need someone to understand where you are coming from, I got you.
